Retro Rainbow Dresses

Inspired by this dress I couldn't get on Modcloth I decided to take matters into my own hands and sew my own Rainbow!

I used the Lilou dress pattern from Love at First Stitch and made the girls their own mini version each!

It is very retro inspired and reminds me of those rainbow sheets we all had as little ones!

Vital Statistics

Fabric: Rainbow Stripes from Spotlight and Rainbow Fabrics

Kids Dress Pattern: The Sweet Dress by The Cottage Mama - altered slightly at the front and back to be a mini version of the Lilou Dress below! They are a bit large as I did them a size up - but hopefully they can wear them for a few years!

  1. I think that Modcloth dress might have been inspired by this one: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/marc-by-marc-jacobs-simone-stripe-silk-dress/3151379
