The girls started the day as Sailor Venus and Sailor Moon...

...and then transformed into Draculaura and Frankie Stein from Monster High!

I made the girls costumes and my Snow White zombie skirt...and Andy carved the pumpkin...the girls (and all the kids in the neighbourhood) had a great time Trick or Treating!

Make It Count - Fimo Edition

This week I found these little gems at the art store while on a paint run and thought they would be perfect for the girls.

I picked up two Fimo pink and one red...and we got a-crafting!

Clementine loved playing with the little squares before we rolled them into balls.

Amelie loved making teeny tiny hearts with a cutter made from bending a pencil top!

In the end we had a range of shapes made by hand and with cookie cutters - pierced with toothpicks and ready for the oven!

Once baked we strung the creations on twine...and BAM...awesome new necklaces for all!

Make It Count

We've been doing some classic keep the kids busy activities this week!

They have loved attacking pictures with glitter glue...

and then adding a bit of sparkle to Alice!

These are great activities...they even beg to paint Alice with coloured water...they have been well trained!

We also did a spot of impromptu baking...blueberry muffins for all!

And you may spy with your little eye piles and piles of vintage fabric I have been cutting out for some summer dresses!

Interesting Tales....
