Malcolm Reynolds Costume
My next instalment for Sew Geeky's Episode 7: Geek Spectacular
Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly and Serenity
This is one costume I have wanted to make forever...and I was about crafting a little baby Mal for Atticus but I thought it might be fun to make my dream come true...in costume form...and then once Atticus can walk and tote a toy gun he can have one too!

The finished costume is a mix of handmade and found elements. I was lucky - I only had to go to two op-shops to get the main clothes - the first gave me the perfect shirt + pants and the second gave me gloves and my Browncoat!

My Little Pony Capes
Playing along with Sew Geeky's Episode 7: Geek Spectacular
My Little Ponies!
Another awesome piece of 1980's nostalgia that I can share with my girls!
They love watching and playing anything to do with the ponies so I thought they would love to have reversible pony capes to play with!
Amelie chose Twilight Sparkle + Fluttershy
and
Clementine chose Pinkie Pie + Applejack
