DIY Freddy Kruger Jumper

This was a quick DIY for Clementine's Freddy Costume for Pre-school dress up week!

We got a cheap jumper from the thrift store in green - red would work too!

I put cardboard inside the jumper to prevent the paint from soaking through - and taped off rows with masking tape at equal distance from each other.

Then Clementine and I got to work with the red fabric paint...and watching Castle! If you have a red jumper you can use green paint!

Once the jumper was painted - it was sent outside to dry in the sun and then heat set once it was dry! Then we flipped it over and did the same for the back!

Simple but effective...and I'm sure if you attempt it your stripes will be much neater!
