Vintage Sheet Quilt Underway

I've been getting stuck into my vintage sheet quilt a bit this weekend!

I am working the largest squares into 9 patch squares and seeing how big they go!

8 down...25 to go!

    3. I'll have a look...I know I have seen some more subdued colours! I will also be heading on an op shop hunt soon so I'll keep an eye out!

  2. Wow! I love this! I don't like to cut into my vintage sheets without REALLY knowing what I'll make.. and I'd die for a vintage sheet quilt for my bed.. just not sure on pattern/colour etc!!
But I gave up a little of my favourite fabric to make a bag with our 9yo neighbour and htat made my heart sing! :)

  3. I love the look of vintage sheets--and I do get tempted when I'm in thrift shops, but then I think about how my nose runs off my face when I sew polyester and change my mind. I've bought a couple of pillow cases, but I'm still sitting on the fence. (I do remember the horrible, horrible rashes I acquired all over my body before we figured out it was from polyester, and that helps me apply the brakes, but the fabrics are just sooooooo pretty!)
