Rainbow Quilt - For Sale

When I was making the Custom Rainbow Quilt I made a small but terrible mistake...I accidentally cut 9 of each print instead of 11. I was so excited that I got stuck straight into the quilt and did not realise till I was adding the binding that I have made the quilt a perfect square instead of a rectangle.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

It was horrible...but the quilt had come so far and the only way to fix it was to start again!

But I love the rainbow vintage sheet look and was very tempted to keep this one...but I have added it to the SHOP! So go and check it out if you are interested!

Vital Statistics

Fabric: Vintage sheets collected and swapped.

Pattern: Squares arranged in a rainbow pattern.

To quilt it I used a walking foot on my standard machine and quilted a cross through each square diagonally.

To back the quilt I used a purple vintage sheet.

To bind the quilt I used an unused vintage rainbow sheet.

For the wadding I used 100% wool wadding.

The finished quilt measures 1.3m by 1.3m
