My Creative Space

This week I finished my first top from the Stylish Dress book!

I used up the last of my Liberty fabric stock creating this beauty!

It came together quickly but I was a bit dismayed because it made me look incredibly frumpy...see Exhibit A below:

FRUMP!! ARHHHH!!

So I took the side seams in quite a bit on a curve to fit my body as you can see below:

The sleeves have that lovely 60's flare which is probably as 'far out' as I go from my usual conservative style!

Ah....beautiful Liberty!

So here is the finished product...Exhibit B below....less frump...more style??
