Linen and Lace
This week I have been working on my entry for the Tessuti Linen and Lace Awards!
There has been tea dying (below), cutting up of doilies, to-ing and fro-ing of ideas and a lot of making it up as I go along!
Now I need to work out a final lacey detail and be brave and put in the invisible zipper!
Do not fear the invisible zipper. They are easier than a lapped zipper. Maybe go an get an invisible zipper foot. It defo makes things easier. Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the finished masterpiece- good luck with the zip!

ReplyDeleteI agree with littlebetty, an invisible zipper foot makes it so much easier to insert an invisible zip. Can't wait to see what you're making - the colours and textures look beautiful!
