There's no place like home....

I was thrilled when I found some perfect pairs of cheap shoes at K-mart for the Glinda costumes and the Kiki costume....but I still needed some Ruby Slippers....and I thought I would make a little pair for Clementine too!

I used a pattern I got when I made the original slippers for Amelie's first Dorothy costume (here)...but this time I used snaps on the buckle and had the straps on an angle so the fit better and I also like the look of it too!

I also used soft leather on the soles as suggested in a free slipper tutorial here....and used leather scraps generously donated by my friends mum...another awesome craftster!
